Flygildi has been invited to enter into an agreement for a market development grant for 10 million ISK from Tækniþróunarsjóður. This grant will facilitate our work to enhance brand recognition and international market penetration. This recognition is a symbol of the exciting and unique development we are creating and the great attention we receive from the industry.
The Silent Flyer will be first to bring to market a device that can discreetly and without risk of danger observe any civil event, prevent bird strike at airports; as an unobtrusive device for maritime surveillance; and serve as an invaluable tool for crime fighting capable of obtaining visual evidence in the most difficult situations.
Flygildi is developing a new, truly revolutionary first-of-its-kind UAV, designed in looks and flight pattern to mimic a real bird, the Silent Flyer enables a multitude of capabilities – high manoeuvrability, silent, unobtrusive, and autonomous flight, and more. Our innovation is a ground-breaking concept of UAV that will bring to the market a new class of drone capable of flying and looking like a natural bird.
