One of our favorite things is meeting drone experts and enthusiast for coffee and discussion. By sharing their views and connecting the dots, that way we bring the industry together to collectively understand how to move forward and strengthen our value proposition.
Recently, the Icelandic Directorate of Fisheries meet us for sharing opinions and perspectives of important trends within the surveillance and security industry. The focus was our favorite product, the Silent Flyer. We looked over the service and technology platform Flygildi can offer, that fits our joint area of focus.
The Silent Flyer can assist marine authorities in preventing illegal discarding of catch by fishing vessels. Due to its low noise emissions and its capacity to mimic the appearance and flight of real bird species, the Silent Flyer can fly over fishing vessels to gather data that could be used as evidence of an illegal activity. This could then become a prevention method. The Silent Flyer can help improve maritime surveillance, e.g., the detection of illegal fishing, which the Directorate of Fisheries has stated that can be of great value.
The Company Flygildi is developing a new, truly revolutionary first-of-its-kind Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), named the Silent Flyer, built on its proprietary, patented technology. Designed in looks and flight pattern to mimic a real bird, the Silent Flyer enables a multitude of capabilities – high maneuverability, silent, unobtrusive, autonomous flight and more. Our innovation is a ground-breaking concept of UAVs that will bring to the market a new class of drone capable of flying and looking like a natural bird.
